We are located on the Makai (ocean) side of the world famous meandering shoreline drive in Kona: Ali’i drive. It’s a short if not eye opening drive along the Queens Highway from the tiny open air Kona airport into the quaint town of Kailua-Kona. If it’s your first visit to the Big Island driving past the startk and ancient lava fields, you’ll wonder how the native Hawaiians survived here so well without shoes?

As your arrive into town a sense of relief overcomes you and your concerns about your choice of destination quickly abates! A right turn onto Kahalui Drivea and a curve left at the lands end and the road becomes Ali’i Drive and takes you through the heart of the tiny town and along the shore to your final destination. 200 feet past the ’1.5’ Mile Marker on your right dressed in while the Grand Dame of Ali’i Drive and your home in Hawaii: Casa De Emdeko and Kona Tiki Condo. If you see the ’2’ Mile marker you'll need to retrace your steps.
